Posture has teamed up with NYC-based costumi\u00e8re, creator, performer, and host, Claire Fleury<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, to offer the grand prize of an online fashion spread<\/strong> to the winner of Fashion Telegram Contest.<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0FTC is a fashion runway show contest juried by BCALLA<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, Claire Fleury, and specialty judges that will take place on January 20th<\/strong> at 6pm<\/strong> at Superchief Gallery<\/span><\/strong><\/a> in Ridgewood. Other prizes include a gift bag from House of La Rue<\/span><\/strong><\/a> and more fun surprises!<\/p>\n

The contest entails four rounds in which the contestants will compete (below).<\/strong> The audience can cast their vote as well.<\/p>\n

1. Best daytime look
\n2. Best recycled\/sustainable look (with specialty judge Tilly DeWolfe)
\n3. Best look made on the scene (you have 30 minutes!)
\n4. Best night time look (with special judge Suzie Hart)<\/p>\n

The host is expecting contestants to come with their looks prepared, except for the ‘on the scene’ look, for which she will provide supplies.<\/p>\n

Rules:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can wear your own designs or represent someone else’s
\nNo store-bought items except shoes
\nYou must incorporate your own makeup and hair<\/p>\n

The event is open for anyone to enter.
\nThe event is open for anyone to attend, but if you’re not competing, there is a $5 door charge.<\/p>\n

For the audience: in-between rounds you can peruse the Popular Demand designer pop up shop that will take place simultaneously.<\/p>\n
