The works create new possibilities of being through the embodiment and performance of possibilities. By expanding the concept of ourselves through alternative representations of gender, we seek to expand the realities of identity, interdependence, power and desire.<\/p>\n<p><b>When did we start? What made us do it?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>BARBARISM began in the hot summer sun of 2010. We were tired of bland, gendered recapitulations of\u00a0empathy-stanching, non-titillating\u00a0power relations! So we created what we wanted to see\u2014gender-upending cinema.
