As if it hasn’t been said enough already… 2013 was an incredible year for new music. And with the addition of a Spotify premium membership to my life, an incredibly manic one for my stereo and headphones.<\/p>\n
My attempts to keep up with new releases afforded me countless\u00a0discoveries, but in no way do I feel I captured the “year in music” with this list. I think “Michelle’s heavy rotation 2013” might\u00a0actually\u00a0be a more appropriate title for this collection…<\/p>\n
So tell me what I missed!<\/p>\n
After having already spent so much time juggling tracks to include, I dare not attempt to recap which artists I chose and why. What I will simply say is that these songs all had an impact on my life this year, and I hope you find one or two that mean something to you as well… or at least make you dance.<\/p>\n
