When I was transitioning I started experimenting more with color and pattern. For example wearing a purple button-up with an argyle sweater, a vest and a fedora. The words I would use to describe my style would be: vivacious, bold and sassy.<\/p>\n How would you define dapper? Do you consider yourself dapper?<\/strong><\/p>\n When I think of dapper, I think of something more gentlemanly who dresses to their Sunday best. Am I dapper? Yes, I can be when I put on a suit and tie.<\/p>\n What do you wear to work?<\/strong><\/p>\n I usually wear a lot of dark blues, greys, and quiet hues and color schemes.<\/p>\n How does a conservative corporate dress code affect what you wear outside of work?<\/strong><\/p>\n I feel the need to rebel from the conservative color schemes I’m required to wear at work and to branch out more.<\/p>\n When did you start experimenting with color to this intensity?<\/strong><\/p>\n In 2010\/2011 when I was started working at my company; but it wasn’t until I started my transition. For an example, if I had to use the bathroom and someone walked in and felt uncomfortable, they are required to leave and find another men’s bathroom.<\/p>\n Tell me more about your personal creations…<\/strong><\/p>\n Well, I saw a suit that I wanted for my one year Manniversary and I found a similar pattern to the picture. I went through ten different designs and $300 worth of fabric, and through all of this I had my girlfriend sew it for me.<\/p>\n Who are some of your favorite designers?<\/strong><\/p>\n Calvin Klein for work and Hugo Boss because of their colors. But usually I just go to Zara, H&M, Express and Bloomingdales. I also find a lot of great items on Queer Exchange.<\/p>\n What are four items you can\u2019t live without?<\/strong> What would you say your style is for shoes?<\/strong><\/p>\n I like my Sperrys and Clarks.
