From Milk Studios to Lincoln Center practically every venue in New York City has been filled to the brim with swarms of fashion editors, buyers, bloggers and self-proclaimed fashionistas. Debuting the S\/S 2015 collection, which runs the gamut in the various trends and tribulations we are to see next spring, street style is rather pared-down and predictable. A flurry of crisp white crop tops and button downs seem to be dotting the perimeters of the fashion shows. Denim is fancifully fringed or lacerated to pieces like a victim from Sin City A Dame To Kill For knows no boundaries. But for those looking for something more zippy or digitally remastered, prints are igniting skirts, pants and even full-on silhouettes. And if you haven\u2019t noticed as of late, Bushwick has gone viral and iterations of that style are all over the streets outside of fashion week. Here is a rundown of some major trends:<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fringe Fete.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Fringed to sculptural proportions and washed to the n-th degree, denim takes an inevitable stronghold. This could be in part to this summer\u2019s erratic climate driving a need to don on the always dependable denim. Bursts of titanium and soft whispers of sand coated the streets and alleyways surrounding the shows. From Leandra Medine\u2019s off-the-shoulder crop top to sleeveless wool jumpers with fur paneling shades of sepia, whites are in full bloom. With fashion week being a kaleidoscope of different silhouettes, everything from severely tailored suits to sequined a-line skirts celebrated this non-palette. Last season, which was replete with \u201890s minimalism and all-things-andro-inspired, could very well be a reason for this look.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bushwick meets High Octane<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret that Bushwick happens to be everyone\u2019s darling trend scouts and real estate agents seeking to gentrify the Dickens out of Brooklyn. Fashion week wasn\u2019t any different. Besides the rather pared-down prerogative that seems to be going on, quirky cultural references and feigning the thrift-store-find look was all the rage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Digitally Remastered Motifs<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Digital, screenprint and 3D are and will be mainstays for fashion week and those to come. One aspect that was uniquely aspect about this stylistic mose was that plaids took center stage with a bevy of graphic variations. Zany viral variations like that cat print however seems to be passe as it was nonexistent (thank god).<\/span><\/p>\n
