Cin\u00e9ma Scaffold is a project created by an organic gathering of different profile artists. With the desire to create a community space in BK, they have started a bi-weekly event where art and underground films from all over the world can be discovered, shared and discussed. This event marks the end of the rooftop and space where Cinema Scaffold was born. They invited Posture to participate and bring a unique perspective by curating a variety of short films to premier on the rooftop at 8:30pm.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Visit the Facebook Event Page<\/a>, and please see details below:<\/p>\n Join us for an afternoon filled with live music, various art installations and inspiring performances all while commemorating artists, friends, family and lovers who have been part of this creative hub!<\/span><\/p>\n For this edition we have chosen the very appropriate film “La Estrategia del Caracol.\u201d \u201cThe Snail\u2019s Strategy\u201d is a beautiful Colombian film that uses both humor and blunt realism to portray the all too familiar emotional effects of gentrification. The film expands on instances where the individual plays a defenseless secondary, if not tertiary, role in the matter.<\/p>\n Come party, dance and feast with us while celebrating both the death and rejuvenation of this enchanting space. We have a rooftop and two lofts filled with themed installations and marvelous surprises for your enjoyment!<\/p>\n While this brings the end to an epic chapter in our journey, it is most certainly not the last, remembering that when a door closes another one opens.<\/p>\n With that being said we want to encourage the entire community to get involved to make this an unforgettable wake!
