DAY 2 DESIGNER\u00a0FEATURE: SAGA NYC<\/a><\/h1>\n

After an incredible kick off with Jahnkoy Maria<\/a> Monday night, Alt Space in Bushwick continues to bring unique and talented independent designers to Brooklyn during New York Fashion Week. Day 2 (Tuesday) featured SAGA NYC, a brand that seeks to “inspire a liberation within the self, offering key pieces which can evolve a current wardrobe into a statement.” Posture is also sponsoring the head designer, Sandra Gagalo, for VERGE: Queer New York Fashion Week<\/a> this Thursday at Brooklyn Museum.<\/p>\n

How would you describe your brand in three words?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Genderless, high-end, streetwear<\/p>\n

What is your mission and intent?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My mission is to keep raising awareness about different things happening right now through design. My intent is to keep creating beauty but let’s push ideas about what beauty is.<\/p>\n

How and where did it all begin?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s always been. This is my second collection but I’ve always been doing this.<\/p>\n
