Last September\u00a0for New York Fashion Week Posture sponsored two designers for VERGE<\/a>, a fashion show that took place at Brooklyn Museum. The show presented\u00a0eight designers whose work was\u00a0dedicated to a gender nonconforming aesthetic. One of the two brands Posture sponsored was SAGA NYC<\/a>, a new company\u00a0founded by designer Sandra Gagalo.\u00a0We chose this brand because of Gagalo’s\u00a0commitment to empowerment for all genders and\u00a0especially\u00a0for those who seek to live without definition. And not only this, but her attention to detail and obsession\u00a0with high quality production made her an obvious choice to support.<\/p>\n

We are so proud of Gagalo and her team as this month they\u00a0have\u00a0announced the opening of their\u00a0online shop<\/a>. In celebration, the brand has teamed up with Oblivion Films to create a fashion film titled SPIRIT<\/em>. The film encapsulates the ethos of the brand’s identity. Gagalo explains, “We felt it was important to show our genderless clothing with movement on models whose personal identities range throughout the gender spectrum.”<\/p>\n
