DAY 2 DESIGNER FEATURE: Something Happening
After a successful day two featuring SAGA NYC, Alt Space’s FASHUN TWEEK! kept it going last night with another incredible designer, Something Happening led by designer Cynthia Chang.
How would you describe your brand in three words?
Silly, Crafty, Unapologetic
What is your mission and intent?
I want to make people happy, honestly. I know that life can feel really mundane and sometimes the only person that you have to amuse yourself is you, but that’s enough, if you can keep yourself entertained, and sometimes dressing yourself is a big part of that. You should look cute for you, first and foremost.
How and where did it all begin?
I used to belong to a livejournal community called T_shirt_surgery.
TONIGHT, Thursday, September 17th, the next feature is Sext Pixels. Presentations will take place at Alt Space from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. There will be an open bar provided by Deep Eddy Vodka and Tiger Beer, along with an array of nonalcoholic beverages from Turmeric Temple, and Runa Tea and snacks by Kettle Brand.
