Posture has teamed up with NYC-based costumière, creator, performer, and host, Claire Fleury, to offer the grand prize of an online fashion spread to the winner of Fashion Telegram Contest. FTC is a fashion runway show contest juried by BCALLA, Claire Fleury, and specialty judges that will take place on January 20th at 6pm at Superchief Gallery in Ridgewood. Other prizes include a gift bag from House of La Rue and more fun surprises!
The contest entails four rounds in which the contestants will compete (below). The audience can cast their vote as well.
1. Best daytime look
2. Best recycled/sustainable look (with specialty judge Tilly DeWolfe)
3. Best look made on the scene (you have 30 minutes!)
4. Best night time look (with special judge Suzie Hart)
The host is expecting contestants to come with their looks prepared, except for the ‘on the scene’ look, for which she will provide supplies.
Rules:
You can wear your own designs or represent someone else’s
No store-bought items except shoes
You must incorporate your own makeup and hair
The event is open for anyone to enter.
The event is open for anyone to attend, but if you’re not competing, there is a $5 door charge.
For the audience: in-between rounds you can peruse the Popular Demand designer pop up shop that will take place simultaneously.
