Posture Magazine, dapperQ, bklyn boihood, and DYDH Productions present VERGE, a New York Fashion Week 2015 event showcasing talented up-and-coming designers. Specifically, VERGE will sponsor eight independent designers whose work is systemically rooted in notions of gender nonconformity and its intersections with race, ethnicity, and culture.
On Sunday, June 7th, we’re hosting a casting call for those interested in modeling to audition for the chosen designers. As a collective dedicated to inclusion and diversity, anyone interested is encouraged to participate.
We will celebrate VERGE’s official launch with a tea dance after-party that is open to anyone and everyone who wants to get down to the beats of DJ Battyjack in the artfully designed Liberty Hall at Ace Hotel New York.
All models who would like to audition should bring a printed 3X5 or larger copy of head shot. (Professional not required, but must be good quality.)
