“In its final form, Any Size Mirror is a Dictator is an installation and 7 weekends of evolving and always-situational performances through frenetically moving and singing bodies, live music and sculptural props. It forces spectators into experiential paradoxes surrounding relationality and subjectivity, materiality and immateriality, and meaning-interpretation vs. meaning-making.”

The gallery is open 3-9pm every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
3pm-7pm the work functions as an evolving, live installation
7pm-9pm the work functions as an opera performance

WEEK 0 sept 5-7: ACCEPTABLE OBJECTIVES FOR ART

–Friday Sept 5th: Opening Party, 6pm, performance, and roundtable discussion.

–Saturday Sept 6th: 6pm: Lectures by Michael Newton and Joanna Spitzner on “acceptable objectives for art” and dance-opera performance

–Sunday Sept 7th: recursive lecture by Igor Rodriguez and dance-opera performance
