Michel Bellici is a figurative painter who resides in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Inspired by her own sexuality and the body, her work often depicts the abstracted female figure. As someone who grew up Roman Catholic and participated in sororities, she explains the difficulty in facing her sexuality, but how that ultimately led to her growth as an artist.
Bellici takes on commissions regularly and has exhibited in the States as well as overseas in England and Italy. Not only a prolific painter, but she also designs T-Shirts which are available on her Facebook page.
